Cream Cheese Frosting

Equipment

  • 1 stand mixer or hand blender

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Unsalted vegan butter
  • 8 oz Vegan cream cheese
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract or vegan butter vanilla emulsion OliveNation
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Cut butter into small pieces and combine with cream cheese using a hand blender or a stand mixer. Blend until creamy and light.
  • Add vanilla and salt to the creamy mixture and blend in. I highly recommend using butter vanilla emulsion, like OliveNation, for a rich buttery taste.
  • Gradually add the powdered sugar to the mixture on low until it all comes lusciously together. Add more powdered sugar to make it sweeter and thicker for piping.
  • Make sure your cupcakes and cakes are cool before you frost them.
